Jackery vs Anker SOLIX

Closer than most comparisons. Anker builds better; Jackery is easier to own.

The short answer

Anker SOLIX is usually the better hardware for the money — sensible thermal design, solid build, and a range that reaches genuine whole-home capability with the F3800. Jackery is the easier thing to own, with wider availability and stronger resale.

This is the closest of the brand comparisons. If you have no strong preference, Anker is the better value; if you want the path of least resistance, Jackery.

On the figures below. Capacity and output are manufacturer specifications. Expect 80–90% of rated capacity in real use after inverter losses, and less in cold weather. We say where a brand wins and where it loses — including when that is not the one paying us most.

The Solarbank is the tiebreaker for some people

Anker is the only one of the four majors selling a proper balcony solar battery. If you are running plug-in solar, storage changes the economics completely — without it, everything generated while you are out is simply given away. Jackery has no equivalent.

Where Jackery still makes sense

Availability and simplicity. You can walk into a shop and buy one, the panels pair without thought, and if it turns out you bought the wrong size it sells quickly. None of that appears on a spec sheet and all of it matters for a first purchase.

Which to buy

  • Best hardware per dollar → Anker SOLIX.
  • Whole-home backup → Anker (F3800), or Bluetti Apex 300.
  • Pairing with balcony solar → Anker Solarbank, comfortably.
  • First power station, camping → Jackery.
  • Maximum capacity per dollar → neither. OUPES or Bluetti.
