Bluetti
Generally the most watt-hours for your money, with expandable systems that let you add capacity later. Slower to recharge than EcoFlow.
What Bluetti is good at
Bluetti competes on capacity per dollar. Compare like for like against EcoFlow and you will usually find Bluetti gives you more stored energy for the same outlay, and more of its range is expandable with add-on battery modules.
The trade is charge speed. EcoFlow will refill a station considerably faster from a wall socket. If you are buying for outage backup and the unit mostly sits full, that hardly matters. If you recharge constantly between uses, it does.
Buy Bluetti if you want maximum capacity per dollar, you plan to expand later, or you are backing up a home. Buy EcoFlow if recharge speed and the app matter more than raw watt-hours.
The range
Bluetti Apex 300
The flagship. High output and expandable, aimed squarely at home backup rather than camping.
Bluetti AC200L
The one most people should actually buy. Carries a fridge overnight without whole-home pricing.
Bluetti Elite 200 V2
Lighter and faster-charging than the AC200 generation it replaces, at similar capacity.
Bluetti vs the others
We put the two leading brands head to head on capacity, charge time and cost per watt-hour in Bluetti vs EcoFlow. The short version: Bluetti wins on stored energy, EcoFlow wins on speed, and which matters depends entirely on how you will use it.
