Bluetti AC200L Review
The one most people should actually buy. Enough capacity to carry a fridge overnight, without paying whole-home prices.
The short version
The AC200L sits at the point where a power station stops being a gadget and starts being useful. Two kilowatt-hours is enough to keep a fridge alive through a typical outage, run a CPAP for several nights, or handle a long weekend off-grid, and the 2,400W inverter starts almost anything in a normal house.
It is the default recommendation on this site for anyone who does not have a specific reason to go bigger or smaller.
Buy it if you want one unit that covers outages and trips. Go bigger (Apex 300) if you want to run heavier loads or expand later. Go smaller (Delta 2) if it is mostly for camping.

The honest weakness
Charge speed. Bluetti trades recharge time for capacity across the range and the AC200L is no exception. If you need to top up quickly between uses, EcoFlow does that better.
Why this size is the sweet spot
Two kilowatt-hours is the point where a power station stops being a gadget and starts replacing a generator for most households. Below it you are charging devices; above it you are paying for capacity you will rarely reach.
It is enough to carry a fridge through a normal outage, run a CPAP for several nights, or cover a long weekend in a van. The 2,400W inverter starts almost anything in a domestic kitchen, which matters more than people expect — see what size power station do I need.
What it will not do
- Electric heat. A space heater at 1,500W flattens this in under 90 minutes. Nothing portable solves electric heating.
- A well pump for long. High startup surge plus sustained draw is generator territory.
- Whole-home backup. Without a transfer switch you are running extension leads. That is fine, but know it going in — home battery backup covers the options.
Pairing it with solar

Panels rarely make their rating. Plan on 70–80% of the sticker figure in good conditions and roughly half on an overcast day. A 400W array realistically returns 280–320W at midday in summer.
Cell chemistry, and why it matters here
